Black Lady 2006 Shiraz

An exclusive release from Glen Eldon and Munari Wines- A rare blend of Australian Shiraz

94 POINTS
"A blend of super-premium Barossa (Glen Eldon Black Springs) and Heathcote (Munari Ladys Pass) Shiraz may seem unlikely but this blend is absolutely seamless. It's got it all: vibrant, impenetrable black hue, dense black fruits, dark chocolate oak and liquorice. Give it a long rest in the cellar."
Tyson Stelzer WBM100, August 2008

Winemakers Adrian Munari (Heathcote) and Richard Sheedy (Barossa) are in love with their fruit, are passionate and adore the wine they produce. Together one evening, debating over a bottle of red (presumably Shiraz) which region is best for Shiraz in Australia, they decided to unite in producing this inaugural blend.

The special release is a blend of two flagship wines and regions - Glen Eldon's Black Springs Reserve Shiraz (Barossa) and Munari Wines Ladys Pass Shiraz (Heathcote). Hence the name!

The combination of two regions - Heathcote, the rapidly emerging Shiraz region of Australia with the world acclaimed Barossa produces a wines that should not be missed.

Only 400 bottles of this superb Shiraz were handcrafted.
